Program Rules

Consumers in participating markets will earn one vote for every turkey product purchased during the program timeframe of October 1 – 25, 2020. Only purchases made at participating stores are eligible to earn program votes.

Participating markets: New York, NY, Omaha, NE, Norfolk, VA, Portsmouth, VA, Newport News, VA, Kansas City, MO, Topeka, KS, Houston, TX, Witchita, KS, Dallas, TX, Philadelphia, PA.

Program only open to legal residents of the participating markets who have reached the age of majority in their state of residence as of October 1, 2020. All employees of Cargill and its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, fulfillment and advertising and promotion agencies , and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in the same household of each such employee, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law.  Voting in the Program constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these program rules.  

By simply entering the product UPC on the campaign page found on the brand website, and, consumers can then vote for the Food Bank of their choice to receive the additional 30,000 pounds of turkey being offered by Cargill. When the voting period is complete on October 25, 2020, Cargill will present the additional bonus food donation to the Food Bank based on the percentage of votes they received.

To ensure a fair and equitable campaign, Cargill will be weighting consumer votes based on geographic population size and product distribution factors to  ensure all participating markets have equal ability to obtain the additional bonus food donation.

Cargill works diligently to research and select the Food Banks who participate in this program. 

The Food Banks and donation amounts are subject to change at the discretion of Cargill. The allocation of the donations to Food Banks is subject to change at the discretion of Cargill.

You must have access to the internet through your own device to participate. Cargill is not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information or technical failures of any kind, (2) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Program; or (3) any other computer, network, technical, human or other error, problem or malfunction that may occur in connection with the administration of the Program, the processing of votes, or the selection or notification of the Food Banks.  Votes have no cash value and do not represent an actual donation to any Food Bank; rather, they are the means to vote for allocation of the (1) additional donation from Cargill. Cargill’s tally of votes is final. Each vote is intended for one-time use by you. If Cargill detects any inappropriate conduct related to votes or votes made outside the above guidelines, votes may be disregarded. In the event any aspect of the program, including the voting, is disrupted in any way, Cargill reserves the right to allocate the donation to any Food Bank in a fair and equitable manner, as determined by Cargill.
